I am Dr. P. Anandan, who is the eldest son of Pulavar A. Pandurangan (Late), a Tamil Teacher. Schooling was done at Vriddhachalam and Ulundurpet. Studied B.Sc., Physics Degree Course in the period between 1994-1997 at Thiru Kolanjiappar Government Arts College, Vriddhachalam, formerly affiliated to the University of Madras. Received M.Sc., Physics degree from the Department of Physics, Alagappa University, Karaikudi in the year 1999. Soon after completing M.Sc. degree, I joined B.Ed. degree at Government College of Education, Pudukkottai, affiliated to Bharathidasan University. Subsequently, the same has been completed successfully in the year 2000. Then, I joined M.Phil., Degree Program at Loyola College, Chennai, which is one of the most reputed institutions in India, and got the degree in the year 2001 from the University of Madras. In the year 2011, Anna University, Chennai has awarded the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy, for the Research work done by me in the field of Crystal growth and its Characterization. Worked in the Research Institute of Electronics, Shizuoka University, Japan, as an RIE Post Doctoral Fellow in 2013-2014.
Teaching, a noble service, which is my passion. I have worked as Professor of Physics and Head of the Department of Science and Humanities at Thiruvalluvar College of Engineering and Technology (TCET), located at Vandavasi. I had joined TCET, as a Lecturer in Physics in the year 2001. Apart from teaching Physics and related subjects for UG and PG level, I have co-ordinated University Exams for thirteen years and discharged my duties in various capacities of administration in TCET and its Sister Institutions till 25-07-2015.
I have been appointed as Assistant Professor of Physics by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Subsequently, I joined the Department of Physics, Government Arts College, Ariyalur on 27-07-2015. Presently, I am working as the Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Thiru Kolanjiappar Government Arts College, Vriddhachalam, since 03-11-2015.
